Personality Tests vs Astrology Analysis (Part 2)

In my last post I took three different personality tests and described my results from The Enneagram, The Myers Briggs Test and The Big FIve Personality Test. All three were pretty accurate with the last one being the most vague, but I feel like they did a good job of capturing my personality and explaining how my mind works and why I am the way I am.

In this post, I am going to do my Astrology Birth Chart Analysis (with some help from friends who are more knowledgeable) and then see how these results compare with the previous personality tests I took.

My sun sign (aka main sign) is Gemini. Gemini's are born May 21 and June 21 and are the first air sign of the zodiac (and third sign overall). My Ascendant is in Scorpio, and my Moon is in Taurus.

But....what does this even mean?

Sun in Gemini, Moon in Taurus

After taking a deep dive into cafe astrology and many conversations with friends, I found this analysis of my Sun and Moon.

I agree with maybe 60% of this analysis. I do tend to pursue intellectual activities because I am always curious about everything, but I definitely DO NOT want to work in education, politics, or lecturing. I think the second paragraph is accurate but somewhat vague and could be applied to anyone.

This next analysis is pretty in-depth, so I'll include a TLDR at the bottom because I'm not sure if I even understand parts of this.

TLDR: You are a person of extremes, very sensitive and desirous of attachment. There is always a psychological struggle between the positive and negative aspects of your life in your mind, and you feel your emotions strongly. You love hard and deep and the intensity and profundity of your passion will always be constant. Use your strong will and character for favorable and beneficial things. You have a strong inclination to be involved in medicine or surgery. You lead a life geared to the acquisition of successful business unions and intimate relationships. Although a little aggressive and impulsive at times, your dynamic assertiveness will bring you a good degree of success in your dealings with the non-egotistical environment.

Okay....this doesn't add up. There are definitely some insights I have not noticed about my personality that are definitely accurate, but I can guarantee you I have no desire whatsoever to go into medicine or surgery. While I do like research and investigation in general, that doesn't mean I'm on the pre-med track. I feel deeply and am very in touch with my emotions, so that part is true, but I am not a behind the scenes type of gal, so that is not on-brand for me. I'd say this part of the analysis is 40% accurate.

Venus in the Seventh House

This is just....weird? I don't know how to feel about this because it all sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me. I mean, at least my birth chart predicts positive outcomes for my future, I don't necessarily want to depend on my future partner for my success and happiness.

I'm at a place in my life where romantic pursuits are not something I concern myself with for many reasons, two of them being freedom and individuality. This is one of the only times in my life where the world is TRULY my oyster, and I can go wherever and do whatever I want. I came into college with a long-distance boyfriend and QUICKLY learned that was a massive mistake, so I will not be repeating history. One of my biggest fears in life is to lose my individuality and sense of self, so I'll be damned if I let some boy factor into my decision-making process for my future. Long story short, I don't really care about the romantic part of this analysis, but it's still interesting to read nonetheless.
